How much coffee should I use in my Cold Brew Maker?
For the best results, fill the filter about 5/6 full—adjust as needed based on your beans.
1L Maker: 85g (3oz), ~1 cup or 16 tbsp of coarse-ground coffee
1.5L Maker: 110g (4oz), ~1¼ cups or 21 tbsp of coarse-ground coffee
Can I put hot water in my Cold Brew Maker?
Yes! The borosilicate glass can handle -30°C to 180°C (-22°F to 356°F), making it microwave and dishwasher safe. Just don’t place it on an open flame to boil water or brew directly.
What grind size should I use?
Use a coarse grind for best results. Some fine grounds may seep through—this is normal and ensures full flavor within 12–18 hours. To reduce this, try an extra coarse grind or shake the filter before brewing to let finer grounds fall out first.
How should I clean my cold brew maker's filter?
After each use: Rinse with warm water—outside first, then inside.
Shake out grounds by turning the filter upside down and tapping it gently.
Every 2–3 weeks: Soak in warm water and white vinegar (1–2 hrs), then scrub with a brush.
Dishwasher safe.
